Prolog Coffee Bar
This coffee bar located in the meatpacking district is my favourite coffee place in Copenhagen. Obviously, there is a strong odour of grinded coffee the second you come through the door – and to me this scent equals relaxation and time for myself. They do a really good coffee but also some amazing ginger cookies. A tiny place with a lot of room.

The Botanical Garden
Walking through this magical place in Spring when the colours and scents are abundant is something very special. The Winter garden and the orangery are both filled with enchanting aromas all year round. If you close your eyes the humid and warm air take you to foreign countries.

Frama is a fascinating concept store in an old pharmacy. The people behind Frama have been very true to the origins of the place and operate in various creative fields and directions from furniture, lighting, apothecary, books, apparel and kitchens. They do lovely scented and beautiful apothecary such as soaps and lotions. It is this rich aromatic air that welcomes you and embraces you while you are there.

Vester Vov Vov
A charming and tiny French-inspired cafe-cinema that oozes nostalgia. This cinema located in a street where you can almost smell Copenhagen through the last century – and it is great if you’re looking to see art films and documentaries. The café has a great sunny spot just outside where you’re able to capture the last rays of the setting sun while you enjoy a glass of rosé.
Address? Absalonsgade 5, 1658 København V
A. C. Perch’s
One of the oldest tea shops in the world and purveyor to the royal Danish court. The aroma oozes nostalgia and long forgotten times. Go here to purchase great souvenirs or gifts for people back home or visit their cosy cafe on the first floor for high tea with sandwiches, scones and cake or champagne brunch during the weekend. A great escape and true self pampering.
Address? Kronprinsensgade 5, 1114 København K
An organic Danish beauty brand with great products founded by a charismatic makeup artist who couldn’t find the products that she wanted on the market. I simply love the subtle scent of their body oil mists. They come with lavender, vanilla or ginger – and I love them all (but the vanilla one is my favourite). They can really pick you up and refresh you any time anywhere.
