Where the Wild Things Are ...
Geschreven door Yelena & Eloise
Our adventure into the woods.
It is most unlikely that a stiletto wearing lady would live in the country, but turns out that our DJ daddy and fashionista mommy decided to give us a life in the woods, between truckloads of bunnies and gigantic green trees. Ever since our mon-chi-chi baby years we’ve lived out there in the wild and we’ve gotten used to birds crashing against the clean windows and miniature frogs invading our kitchen every once a year ... I’m also pretty sure that mice have their way with our Lily Petshop toys every once in a while as we often find them in positions and in spots we hadn’t left them in … unless mommy & daddy have grown an affection for overnight playing with our toys … Everything is possible I guess.
Despite the fact that it often smells of cow poo poo and furry brown mammals attack our garden leaving it behind like a minefield, we love living in the wild and it triggers our fantasies and has us dreaming of our own Into the Wild tales. These tales involve bears and screaming owls and enchanted woods and lost hungry kids that are tired of eating the organic tasteless cookies that their mommy dear persists on feeding them. It’s quite a heroic story and often comes to an abrupt end with torn clothes … Oops indeed, but then again running through the woods trying to escape from made believe wolves does come with a certain type of risk and of course the dislike of mommy dear once she finds out about the new holes in our clothes.
This is The Eloise taking over just to say that I never have issues with my clothes and that only dare devil Yelena comes back home looking like Oliver Twist. Really! Give her a princess dress and chances are she’ll deteriorate it within hours. She might look like your average Miss Piggy, but in fact, SHE is the real Tasmanian devil and not I. I’m not sure why people think I’m the trouble maker? Perhaps because I always persist in getting what my little booty wants or maybe the fact that I just do things such as climbing into the fridge or exchanging my bio crap cookies for the sugary exemplars of my class mates, have gotten me the reputation of wild child. I feel misunderstood as I really consider my behavior exemplar for those who like to take initiatives in their lives … no?
We gotta split again, but do wish to share that our first day of Back 2 School was loads of fun.The Yelena started her new career as a 1st grader and I still get to goof around in Kindergarten Lalaland. The Yelena has been forever excited about learning how to read and write and she’s even looking forward to receiving her first load of homework, something I personally find very gruesome.
Ok, ok enough of The Eloise depicting me as the upper nerd of the region. Truth is I want to learn how to read and write so I can finally read what our mommy dear has gotten us into …essential “Intel” if you ask me!
Cheers, blogs to the kids and FOCUS is what our mommy dear always has to say …
