Geschreven door Jill Shaw
This one just caught my attention. Ladies, this one is for you, buy your men and boys this recycled fashion by O'Neill!
Board shorts, shirts & sweaters made out of high performance eco-threads by Bionic, which contain recycled beach plastic. The O'Neill Blue collection made it possible and recently came up with this new line and amazing initiative and we must admit ... The items look gorgeous.
Helping mother nature by wearing the coolest clothes? Don’t hesitate, surf babes and dudes!
In 1952, Californian surfer Jack O'Neill founded O'Neill, a brand completely focusing on action sports innovation. He was the very first to come up with wetsuits, surf leash and stitchless board shorts and soon became the hero of many generations of ocean surfers.
Since pollution is threatening O'Neill's beloved ocean, the brand created the O'Neill Blue collection. With this new clothing range, O'Neill wants to raise awareness about plastic waste - did you know an estimated 8 million tons are flooding the world’s seas each year? Their mission is to produce sustainable surf wear by using high performance eco-threads by Bionic, which contain recycled beach plastic.
Every plan to help the environment is a step in the right direction. O'Neill's biggest goal is thus to inspire customers and others who participate in the wonderful surf world to make an effort to contribute to the remedy of the ocean and to share their knowledge of this problem with their relatives.
As a die-hart surf chick it was my duty to inform you about this wonderful initiative on behalf of O'Neill. Keep spreading the word!
