Kirilove goes off the shoulder
Geschreven door Tiany Kiriloff
Itâs too cold indeed for off-the-shoulder goodness, but unfortunately I had to skip the entire trend this summer as it made me look like a tentâ¦
So now that I can indulge into off-the-shoulder awesomeness, I will, even if it means that I might risk a severe bronchitis.
All is fair in love & fashion, I guess… no?
So here is my take on Cecilie Copenhagen’s cool Keffiyeh print ruffled top. I’ve been a huge fan for quite a while of the Danish designer, who’s pretty much conquering the world with her Keffiyeh fabric collections. Cecilie launches about 10 different styles in a range of various hues per season. I’ve managed to collect some of her skirts, dresses and tops over the past years and I’ve become a Cecilie addict as her garments are feminine, comfortable and versatile.
I decided to pair this off-the-shoulder exemplar with my 70’s jeans dungarees and reckoned it would also look great when styled with a blazer.
I’m also considering combining this top with a turtleneck, I’ll keep you posted on that experiment as I still have to try it out, please do keep your fingers crossed as it would prolong the wearability of yet another great summer item.
Oh and have I already mentioned my new platform adoration? I’m hooked and totally digging sky high platform sandals and shoes, get used to them as we will be seeing plenty more of them.
