Julia June FW15

Time to get cozy ladies! In every store you’ll find different fall and winter collections that will keep us warm during the next couple of months.
Last week the young Belgian brand Julia June put their new collection really out there by organizing a very cool runway show in the amazing designed space above their shop in Ghent.
As I was part of this and walked the fashion show myself, I was also able to experience the nice fabrics and designs. I always find it fascinating to see how the stylist proceeds and I really liked how miss Lieselot Wille dared to mix all the different prints and still made everything fit very well together.
The show was inspired by 'our connection with Mother Nature'. They used different pictures of nature elements that brought the entire collection in a nature kinda atmosphere. Every outfit was represented with the perfect visual behind the model and it expressed exactly what they wanted to bring forward.
The collection includes this season's hottest colors such as deep green and intense brown shades.
As I said before, there were a lot of references that made you connect with Mother Nature. It was a delight to experience this feeling of calmness through the busy online world we’re living in. Julia June created a kind of wonderland with the deep green and intense brown shades that - in my believe - represented the earth. The dark red skirt and vale orange coat made me think of the burning fireplace.
When I asked the designer and owner of the brand, where Julia June stands for she answered me:
"Julia June stands for quality and craftsmanship. Unique materials, clean cuts and refined details are the keywords of this versatile collection. It’s the perfect blend of statement pieces and must-have wardrobe essentials. Mix and match the different items to accentuate your personality and reveal your inner rebel."
