Because of the many requests, I decided to open up the doors of little Otilia’s room.

Many of you have been wondering what happened to my famous dressing, well, I had to evacuate for the sake of baby O.

Many of you also questioned me on how I managed to decorate a room not knowing the gender. Well, truth is most of it  came along after the birth of my 3rd offspring. The furniture, for example, was delivered on the 18th of August; the day Otilia decided to come to this world.

I wasn’t quite ready deco-wise, but then again having a baby room is, according to me, a work in progress and something that evolves over time.

I’ve always had this thing for vintage and our house has its share of amazing vintage discoveries, but when it comes to baby furniture it’s not easy to find what you have in mind. So when I bumped into this set of furniture of Belgian brand Théophile & Patachou, it was love at first sight. In that very moment I decided to splurge on the room of my 3rd, and probably last, baby. I really wanted this room to be perfect. As kids end up having their furniture for quite some time, it’s a good idea to opt for quality. This is totally the case with Théophile & Patachou

I have quite a history with Théophile & Patachou. Its pure luxury for babies has been on every single wishlist ever since the birth of Yelena.

I still own linen travel bags and little baby sleeping bags that belonged to our, now 8-year old, Yelena and they still look great after years of serious usage. The quality of this brand is pretty outstanding and the looks are classic and sophisticated; in other words just perfect for your little princess & prince

The further decoration of the baby's room was pretty much a piece of cake as the furniture was already picture perfect. So I ended up buying some pretty little extra’s on various online shops such as Bliss and Oh My Goodies. I still have some things on my wish list, such as the cute & dreamy drawings by Mrs Mighetto and these amazing mural tapestries by Chief & Kewpie, so I might be adding these soon.

Otilia’s very first outfit was also a softer than soft Théophile & Patachou white onesie that I bought when the gender was still unknow. It’s beautiful and delicate but sadly enough it’s now too small. I’ll soon end up framing it so she can see how tiny she once was...

Baby Otilia has a prettier closet than I’ll probably ever own and her commode is pure perfection. It's spacious with room for truckloads of pretty little dresses, leggings, bodies and onesies.
