Kiriloves Natan Couture
DOOR Tiany OP 17.03.2015
Those of you that have been following me for a while know that I have an affinity for our Belgian talents and that I always commit to wearing something Made in Belgium during my Fashion Week escapades.
Our little country is designer goodness and I strongly believe we have to support as much of that as we can. I tend to mix and match brands, introduce young unknown creative brains but also enjoy wearing the more established Belgian designers.
I’ve known Mister Vermeulen for quite a while as he was already designing when I started my career back in 2001. I interviewed him on various occasions and still remember how honored I was to meet him the first time as I have always admired him for his fabulous work with his labels Natan and Natan Couture.
Besides providing our royals with some beautiful creations; he also knows how to make a women look utterly elegant. On various occasions I’ve had the opportunity to wear his designs and as I was packing for Milan and Paris, I decided to get in touch with Mr. Vermeulen to see if I could wear some of his delightful couture creations.
I wanted to add a dash of Kirilove to Natan’s Couture and prove that Mr. Vermeulen’s designs are also destined for girls like you and me and thus perfect for daywear when talking about the beautiful yellow silk cropped kimono jacket… it was a match made in heaven with this vintage pair of dark blue jeans.
The skirt is obviously a more opulent piece, but still an item you can dress down with a simple shirt and wear during daytime as well. Swap your shirt for some Natan sequins and you’ve got yourself the perfect party attire.
