My life has gotten that tad bit better as Michael Kors decided to open the doors to the brand new and very first Belgian boutique in Brussels (and yesterday one in Knokke too). I’ve expressed my love for the all-American brand on various occasions, as I sincerely adore the Lauren Hutton-inspired jet set 70’s twist to fashion. It’s always extremely feminine, timeless and casual though still utterly sophisticated.
Their shop on the very well known Avenue Louise (29-31) is a fashion heaven. In this gigantic Kors temple you can find a wide selection of the MICHAEL Michael Kors line and truckloads of accessories like the it-bags that are often spotted on the likes of celebs such as Zoe Saldana or models like Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum and Karolina Kurkova. The shop will also carry a mix of accessories from the Michael Kors Collection, heaps of watches, jewelry and the iconic Kors eyewear.
I fell in love with this grenadine red paisley print ensemble that I wore to the shop opening event last night. I have this thing with matchy outfits, as they are comfy but according to me completely chic at the same time. Lately I’m also obsessed with wide legged pants and all things flared. Blame it on that 70’s vibe that is currently taking over fashion.
Add a great pair of high heels to make the look evening proof or just slide into some sandals and take this deux-piece to your future beach parties. Pair the blouse with jeans for an easy going day outfit or combine the trousers with a fitted white top or T-shirt and a denim jacket.
This outfit is the type that offers you endless looks styled your way.
To celebrate the opening of the very first Michael Kors Belgian boutique, I thought it would be a great idea to introduce you to the SS2015 collection with this mini Kirilove selection. These are 2 of my favorite dresses, which will have you looking instantly summer-ready & summer-proof.
I’m currently crushing on this little white boho-chic embroidered dress, which will look perfect for a garden party when styled with a pair of wedges. Add some slouchy suede boots and you’ve got yourself the perfect stylish festival outfit.
As a finishing touch I added the Izzy tote, which is one of my favorites, not only because it’s the perfect basic, ideal for everyday wear, but also because it’s reversible which means 2 bags for the price of 1!
The crochet white dress was pretty much love at first sight, it’s the type of dress that will look great with simple sneakers and a cropped denim jacket, but I opted for the glamorous way and styled it with a pair of white Kors sandals and the Sloan crossbody bag.
