Kiriloves Elle Belgium

Door Tiany op 07.08.2014

My days of 24/7 hanging around with family and friends have almost come to an end and to be honest, I’m gonna suffer again of not having the mini's and my hubby around me all the time. I know I’ll have to go cold turkey once more and I somehow fear my agenda as I have piles of work awaiting me upon arrival at our new offices in Ghent.

But hey holidays are not over yet... I’m currently staying at the seaside and I have had the most amazing sunny days; ending in long beach apero’s and seaside pizza orders. I guess after all, there’s no better place to be than the Belgian coast when the sun is out.

Over the past few weeks, you’ve been able to read all my adventures in Oostende city, but not so long ago Elle Belgium also gave me the chance to show them around in Knokke, another seaside city that I tend to frequent. Do check out their August edition as I share some amazing hotspots in mondaine Knokke: from places to eat, to my absolute favorite shops. It so happens to be that Knokke has some beautiful boutiques such as La Vie en Rose (where truckloads of Marni have you drooling from the second you set foot in this shop) to shoe stores like Ironie, for fashionista’s with a Prada obsession. And all of the shopping madness is open on Sundays, which turns out to be quite handy if you have to deal with crazy busy weeks.

Knokke town also has its very own Louis Vuitton and apparently the French brand shares my mutual love for the seaside resort as they recently launched this marvelous Knokke Cabas, which is a limited edition canvas bag. It launched more than a month ago and pretty much sold out in days. But the darlings at the Louis Vuitton boutique kept some exemplars specially to have them at your disposal during the Nuit du Zoute aka Knokke’s Art & Fashion night out.

Big thanks to Elle Belgium for the 4 pages of Kirilove and to Louis Vuitton for letting me bathe in Louis Vuitton beauty. Also many thanks to Cartier and their magnificent Juste un Clou bracelet that was cuffed around my arm during this shoot.

The amazing lace flowered blue dress and the 3-piece ensemble are creations of Michael Kors, whom I admire for his gracious and feminine creations. Unfortunately not available in our little Belgium, but the Michael Kors boutique in Paris stocks many of the amazing runway and pre-collection pieces which will have you in total awe for sure.
