Hot days require hot outfits, which according to my friend D I don’t have as she repeatedly accuses me of dressing like a nun, something I find pretty amusing. Nevertheless I often think of her when choosing an outfit, which results in me repeating the words: think sexy dress sexy… I don’t really seem to succeed in achieving major hotness and always end up hiding my Latino curves. That’s when I end up being sent to the local monastery by lady friend D… I love her though, because of her honesty and her ever so amusing English-Bulgarian accent.
This Geeks & Stitches dress however is the exception to my curve-less existence but at the same time it still remains very me; hence the quirky ladybug print, the preppy style and the floaty organza fabric. Lady friend D would most probably disapprove of it if it were not transparent, as it would still hide my curves. But as that’s not the case I can already imagine her saying “See, you look great in sexy!”
By the way please do check out Geeks & Stitches, it’s one of my many Instagram discoveries, a very interesting brand that creates high fashion yet affordable garments. Their dresses are really amazing and they have this bespoke service, which offers you the possibility of creating your very own personalized Geeks & Stitches item. Perfect for those of you that want to look unique at the next fancy party.
