I’m not entirely sure about the “when” my life started getting more colorful, I do remember having had a pretty black period as a teenager in full grunge mood, but that’s like ages ago. I guess that in the end, my colorful Latino roots found their way to the light and I’m pretty much sure my mom is still thanking the heavens for that as she couldn’t stand to see me in my all-black “alterno” attire, which I assure you now was not really a pretty sight.
This specific dress was love at first sight as it totally reflects my passion for all things bright. I bought it at the brand new Dorothee Schumacher store in Antwerp, as I wanted something new to flaunt in during my trip to South Africa.
I remember the very first time I bumped into the brand Schumacher (about 6 years ago during one of my SN3 shopping sprees). It pretty much had me stupefied first, because of its masculine name and the reference to the misfortunate Formula 1 pilot. The creations however are pure elegance, totally stylish, absolute evergreens and extremely well cut as in great fit! Schumacher is the type of brand every working lady should have in her wardrobe, as a mother herself Dorothee manages to design pretty frocks that will have you looking great as a working mom and devoted wife/partner.
