What’s in my bag: the winter edition

Door Tiany op 25.11.2013

I’ve always been intrigued by what women carry around in their bags, most of the time an entire household. There was this period that even pampers ended up being part of my purse inventory and to be honest, I’m totally longing for that to happen again … but enough for now about the baby number 3 talk and on to what I drag around in my bag, though I must admit that I lately tend to stick to the essentials due to my shoulders that have gotten sick and tired of too much weight.

We’ve totally shifted into winter mode and that pretty much means that the content of my bag has changed. I’m currently obsessed with my new Clio Goldbrenner bag as it has proven to be a great all rounder adding the perfect bit of rock n’ roll to my every day outfits.

Most of you are perhaps not aware, but I’ve been on a healthy food trip ever since Eloise was born (back in 2009). So I’m the kind of gal you’ll find at your local organic food shop and I have a basket of local cultivated fruit and vegetables delivered to my door weekly … sometimes containing veggies I’ve never ever seen before. So after having had an obsession with spelt cookies, I’m now totally hooked on dried apricots and nibble at them during my many moments in the car.

The further contents include a mini notebook and pen, for ideas that hit me during daytime. My brand new M Missoni wallet that matches my winter vibe just perfectly, my Terracotta by Guerlain, always some extra accessories just to shift my outfit from day to night and a Dior glossy red to add a bit of punch to my looks during grey days and ofcourse a La Mer lip balm, to avoid chapped lips due to cold days …

Which brings me to my all time favorite product:

I’ve been a big fan of the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse for ages, ever since Nina de Weerdt (a friend make-up artist) used it on me to get my skin glowing. It not only smells great, but it also gives your winter scruffy skin a healthy glow and it nourishes and moisturizes every single patch of dry skin. It comes in different sizes and versions (like the Or, which leaves you looking gorgeously tanned and bathed in gold or the fragrance, which I got personalized), but for the on-the-go Kirilove I always tend to stick to the mini original Huile Prodigieuse version and the best thing of all is that this magical lotion is multi-purpose as it can be used for face, body and to give the dry ends of your hair a little extra shine.
