Kirilove on Pool Glamour

Door Tiany op 09.07.2013

Nothing wrong with a little bit of a poolside glamour and certainly if the pool has the allures of the exceptional Sofitel Essaouira basin. For what it’s worth, I pretty much wish I were still enjoying the luxurious surroundings of the venue we visited during our tanning trip, but hey all good things come to an end and at least I still have the memories and these pics that proof I was having a mighty good time…

I learned from the best (lady Miss Inge Onsea – leading lady at Essentiel) that to travel in style you have to plan your summery outfits in advance. Think and coordinate your vibrant swimsuits, matching earrings, vavavoom shoes, and extraordinary headpieces. It might even come in handy to make pictures of the combo’s you created at home, just in case your brain starts to boil and malfunction because of the hot, hot heat.

I know in the end holidays are all about fun, but when you book a room at a top notch spot you just have to try to be at your very best… don’t you think? So enter the SATC extravaganza and do not hesitate to wear some heels when flaunting around the pool.

When it comes to swimwear, I’ve always been a big fan of French brand Eres…I find their cut perfect and love the minimalistic though very elegant and luxurious aesthetics. I admit that it’s an investment, but it’s worth every penny. I still own exemplars I purchased decades ago (if I manage to get into these is another question) and the quality is just impeccable. Besides the looks are timeless, so you can wear them many seasons to come.

WEARING: Eres bathing suit, Essentiel short & blazer, vintage earrings and scarf, Nicholas Kirkwood sandals (still some left in the sales at Coccodrillo – Antwerp… so get them while it’s hot)
