You start talking prints and I guarantee you, I’ll be all ears in just a matter of seconds. Guess that besides being a total magpie; smitten with bright hues, I also have this affinity for prints.
The bolder, the better and that’s how I caught sight of Italian brand Au Jour le Jour.
I first spotted it on the streets during the various fashion weeks on the likes of Italian beauties Candela and Viviana… Immediately I was intrigued, totally captivated by the fun looking designs and the quirky use of colors. I remember having sought after the name of the brand for hours until a little Instagram post relieved me and enlightened my quest.
It’s been over a year now and I’ve become even fonder of the creations of the young duo Mirko Fontana and Diego Marquez as they have appeared to be masters of the mix n’ match garde and totally know how to deal with a good combo of print galore… Read: so totally me!
