I’ve always been a total fan of the so-called PJ pants; I dig the comfort, the fact they are multi combinable and to me perfectly sexy when worn with the highest of heels. My husband somehow fails to understand the quintessence of this garment and the turning heads and puzzled looks on the streets have brought me to this conclusion: Kirilove you’ve got some explaining to do…
Let me start with some facts; PJ outfits are hot, they have been for ages. In the 70’s, for instance, there was this brand called Galitzine designed by a Russian-Georgian princess who started creating none other than “Palazzo Pyjama” outfits for the crème de la crème… the likes of Sophia Loren, Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O where often spotted at top notch parties looking as if they had rolled out of some luxurious bed and just slipped into some fancy heels. And now after having witnessed a Mister Marc Jacobs in a head to toe PJ look after the Vuitton show, we can no longer ignore the fashion importance of the fashionable PJ’s… do we agree on that?
I bumped into these Terre Bleue pants a week ago and a world of possibilities filled my brains as PJ pants are more than versatile and this exemplar in particular totally corresponds to the monochromatic trend of ‘le moment’… I know I’m a trends junkie, but then again it’s my job… right?
I thought it might be a great idea to just show you, how you can never go wrong with these babies and give you some inspiration on how to wear them from day to night.
Slip into a lovely tee and add a blazer, in my case some heels but perhaps some flats will do for your daily activities. I promise you, you’ll look totally fine.
Terre Bleue PJ pants, Zoe Karssen bat t-shirt, COS blazer, Alexander Wang shoes, Shourouk necklace
Add some heels, a fancy top and a dash of attitude and bam… you’re ready to hit the night.
