Every once and a while, it's time for a change. That's why I exchanged my sneakers for ballet slippers. At least for now ...
Let’s face it, we were once delighted with the entrée of the rubber sole in fashion land as seasons ago also dictated even by the likes of Chanel and Dior … But I somehow feel as if we’ve touched rock bottom and the over-saturation of sporty spice footgear has become a considerable issue. No?
So after years of marriage to my beloved Nike and co, I’ve decided it’s time to take a walk on the wild side and hereby admit that I’ve been a tad bit unfaithful lately … Don’t take it wrong, my precious sneakers, I still love you dearly, but I feel like we need a short break from each other.
In the meantime I’ve become quite notorious for wearing the so-called Joshua Sanders slip-ons, which are basically the coolest flatforms one can buy nowadays. I own like 4 pairs and am continuously checking out their site for new acquirements.
I’ve also been flirting with my magnificent hairy Gucci loafer slip-ons, which managed to cause yet another commotion amongst my beloved friends (wait till they see my white hairy Coach slip-ons). And now I have fallen head over heels with the marvellous ballet slippers, introduced by Miu Miu and already a revelation in fashion la-la-land.
These babies are bound to elevate your every day look to editorial status, yet comfy and utterly elegant. Hell yeah! Chances are you’ll become a more graceful version of yourself as these mighty fine ballerinas have got you from fashion Adagio to Allegro!
Please don’t despair dear Nike and co, I’ll be back to you sooner than later!
