Mirror LEBRAHC and you get Charbel, the name of the ever so fascinating creative talent and humble designer behind my newest fashion crush brand LEBRAHC…
I fully blame myself for not having discovered LEBRAHC earlier than this week as not only his collections make my heart skip a beat but also the interesting and multi-talented man behind it all has stolen my heart. Charbel studied interior architecture at Beirut’s Fine Arts University, went on to discover his talents and worked for 7 years as a head designer for the renowned couturier Elie Saab. During those years of fashion creativity and working with colours and materials he also developed his photographic skills and that led him to become the personal photographer of Dita Von Teese during her shows at Crazy Horse.
It was love that brought Charbel to the city of Kortrijk, that same love also motivated him to launch his own label in 2013 and open the doors of a magnificent boutique in Kortrijk where he sells his creations.
I have this very weak spot for those creative souls that decide to fully produce their creations in our little Belgium, as this deed of fashion in no longer a common given. Obviously this creativity and utter quality comes with an elevated price tag, but you do get a great piece of design in exchange.
Charbel’s designs are modern, discreet, beautiful in all its simplicity, they transcend seasons. They are elegant and ultra feminine, manufactured with love and care in Belgium and made out of a range of beautiful materials such as wool and silk which in time are combined with technical fabrics to add that precise dash of edge and modernity.
See for yourself and if you have the opportunity, try it out as his designs come to life once they are actually worn and as it’s only then that you can feel the great quality of the selected fabrics on your skin.
Bottom line is that I’m over the moon to have discovered such a kind, great and humble personality and that a piece of LEBRAHC will add that right bit of timeless elegance to your wardrobe.
