This is the Eloise speaking… I’m trapped in this little skirt-obsessed body and have this urge to change clothes at least 3 times a day… I also have this tendency to slip into this Anne Kurris striped dress after mommy dear has prepared my bootie for bed. I’m not really sure why that somehow seems to drive her mad, I mean who’s the fashionista here?
From the minute I entered this world she has been juggling around with clothes and tempting us with all these shiny shoes, that someday soon we will hopefully be able to wear… I’ve seen her wear more outfits in a day than the K3 ladies all together during an average show, so what’s up with her? Why can she have a gazillion outfits a day and do I have to stick to this single one?
The Yelena is currently suffering from a writer’s block, so I have been forced to take over and wish to further discuss our mini obsession with clothes… we’re addicted, that’s all there is to it. You drop us in a shop and we’ll go mad!
Ok, if we’re talking clothes than I’m back to writing, so this is the Yelena taking over… I love clothes and shoes and My Little Pony hairpins and raspberry hairbands. I like pink and purple, but I am glad to settle for the hues my mom wishes to buy for us. You put me in a shop and I’ll be glad to go through the necessary fittings… something Eloise really despises, she just grabs all things skirty and furry and sits on it until mommy dear forces her to try it on.
As you can see, shopping with us tends to be total chaos, so after the last debacle of the spring/summer 2012 collection shopping, my mom decided she would no longer take us along with her and she now just shops till she drops all these gorgeous little dresses and we just get to try everything at home… Not really fair, but guess it’s that or pure bare nakedness.
So last week, she once more visited her favorite kiddy shop in Gent: Meneer Janssens en Juffrouw Kaat… don’t tell anybody but she actually likes going there because she can actually also shop for herself, she just buys frocks for kids aged 18 – I kid you not- and forces herself into all these too cute Marni kids dresses!
She managed to get us some goodies and even though the temperatures were like boiling hot we decided to try it all on… even The Eloise was enthusiastic this time, as one of her outfits involved a cap.
Ok, gals, we gotta split now, as Eloise once more managed to misbehave, meaning that she has been banned to the smallest room of our house again and well ‘Hallo K3’ is about to start. A girl needs priorities right???
