After one crazy night in Buenos Aires (we’ll spare you the details) we headed off to Iguazu, a place famous for their waterfalls at the Three Frontiers where the Argentine, Paraguayan and Brazilian borders meet.
What I first thought to be a tourist trap, is most definitely not true!
Impossible to write down in words what the power of the falls unleashes of emotions! Incredible joy, astonishment, wonder, energized, felt like doing yoga right then and there (and we did ), feeling insignificant in front of this natural wonder,… Amazing.
If there is one thing you have to do at one point in your life, this is it! Take 2 full or 3 days, and visit both Argentine and Brazilian side. Our tip: start with the Argentine side and please try not to investigate too much before going; let it all just rain down on you… And I would say -damn Steph brainwashed me- the Argentinian side is the best one.
This might be a short text, but we could go on and on about Iguazu, but you have to experience it as words aren’t able to describe this worthy. Just ask us about it in real life and we will get so hyper!!! That’s what Iguazu Cataratas do to you!
Where to stay: if you’ve got the money, within the parc in Sheraton (Argentine side) or Hotel Das Cataratas (Brasilian side) or at LOI Suites. Otherwise, in the middle of the jungle at Hotel Aldea del Selva Lodge!
