Although I’ve got a slight fear of flying, I just love traveling.
I like hotels that don’t focus solely on luxury, but where there is something special happening. Unique spots, which have something different to offer. Here are five of my favourite places in the world.
Il Pellicano in Grossetto
This is the hotel where I stayed for my honeymoon, so I’ve got special memories of it. It’s a magnificent hotel, in Tuscany, yet boasts the kind of charm so typical of Italian luxury hotels. Guests dine right next to the Mediterranean. The view from the restaurant is breath-taking and the cuisine is to die for.
The Palais Rhoul in Marrakech
This is the most romantic spot that I know. It’s a luxury hotel of the thousand and one nights in the heart of the Palmeraie. My brother got married there. Quite simple it’s a magic place. It’s worthwhile going there just to dine by the swimming pool. A cheaper and great alternative hotel is the ‘Beldi’.
The Sixty Thompson Soho in New York
I like visiting New York with my girlfriends. We always stay in this small hotel in the heart of Soho, because it’s a perfect base for making trips around the city. The decor is chic and trendy, and it’s a really great place for anyone visiting New York! The hotel is in central Soho, my favourite neighborhood! Enjoy breakfast at the ‘San Ambroes ’ in Soho and dine at ‘Indochine’! You won’t be disappointed …
The Hotel BoHo in Prague
This is a boutique hotel where I took my husband for a few days, as my Christmas present. I loved the city and this hotel. It’s a delightfully decorated design hotel, 10 minutes’ walk from Prague’s Old Town Square. It’s worth highlighting the breakfast, which is beautifully prepared. Dine out at 'SaSaZu’, the best Asian restaurant in the world.
Salt on Kite Beach in Dubai
My final favourite when travelling is not a hotel but a restaurant, actually a food truck located on the beach in Dubai. They serve the best hamburger that I’ve ever tasted. The atmosphere and the place make this the kind of spot where I feel good! Kids love it too!
