No Indian Summer this year. Luckily I have a wardrobe packed with new pieces that are dying to be worn.
This year the weather gods decided to deprive us from an Indian Summer and so earlier than foreseen – and hoped for - I’ve had to say farewell to my entire boho summer attire and hello winter wardrobe.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love winter wear and I totally adore the layers that come along with it, but I’m still struggling with my post baby body and pretty much half of my closet is still useless as I’ve still got about 7 kg’s to deal with.
In the meantime I rely on these so-called stretchy jazz pants aka flared cropped pants. They are a lovely alternative to my trusted jeans and match with pretty much everything.
I’ve been wearing these on repeat ever since the birth of little Otilia and love the fact they look good with both flats as high heels. I enjoy combining them with a black turtleneck for a 60’s Twiggy twist and also love layering it up. Which is the case in this outfit where I combine my current basics with one of my favorite eye catchers of my beloved Sportmax fall/winter collection.
So this mustard yellow item is in fact a dress that will look just great on your bare naked body with a lovely pair of stiletto’s, but I like to make the most out of investment pieces and always try to find ways to make clothes work day & night. So according to me this beautiful and elegant sculptural dress can be made a tad bit more casual and appropriate for every day wear by layering it over pants & a turtle neck.
Simple and sophisticated, the ideal 4 piece outfit that will have you looking great and totally fall proof.
