The yearly H&M Conscious Exclusive collection hits stores today and believe me when I say that you’ll need a lot of this year’s edition in your wardrobe.
There are obviously many reasons for me to say such thing like you need this because it looks great, because it fits just perfect, because it’s unique, because it’s sustainable fashion, limited edition and affordable.
Many reasons indeed, but there’s more to my story, so before you step into your car and rush off to your local H&M store or before you start filling up your intergalactic shopping bag, bear with me just a tad bit longer and just keep on reading, it won’t take long.
Inspired by Louvre’s archives and the fabulous new 'Fashion Forward' exposition in The Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris it is once more an exquisite example of how creativity can also be totally conscious and entirely sustainable. My sincerest admiration for the entire H&M design team that has managed to create a fashion of their own with collections that envisage a free-spirit, bohemian yet ultra stylish woman. Their elaborate eye for details such as embellishments & embroideries has become a trademark and their skills to make heaps of recycled materials look great is enviable and highly remarkable.
I applaud these efforts in fashion and appreciate the fact that H&M is once more trying to make a statement and helping us build up a bigger conscious when it comes to sustainable fashion without having to give up on looking great.
