Since becoming a mum, I’ve been careful about what I eat. No doubt that’s because I want to make sure my daughters have the best start in their lives.
So now I eat healthily, I look after my body, and I do sport. I’ve also done two detox courses over the last two years and learned that outer beauty is closely linked to the way we eat. I’d like to talk to you about two people whose philosophy appeals to me ...
Talia and her classes
Talia Hendlisz is a nature-loving lady, as well as a nutrition and health coach. She shares all her precious advice on her blog. In her training workshops, she advocates yoga, travel, and healthy cooking. She’s also the queen of natural juices. Talia is an expert on ‘better eating’ and she gives classes in which you learn how it’s possible to eat healthily whilst enjoying what you consume. I take cooking classes with her. Her dishes are simple, natural and tasty. I want to pass on to my daughters these good habits and a taste for healthy cooking.
You can sign up for Talia’s classes, and follow her recipes, tips and latest discoveries via her blog.
Virginie and her book
Virginie Degryse is an old friend of mine. She left Belgium to live in Los Angeles with her husband and three children. At first, she took her inspiration from tradition, making dishes she knew well and cooking to delight her family.
Her hobby became a passion and she created her blog, opened an Instagram page and even published a book this winter. I’m a fan of her simple and really tasty recipes. Especially her desserts, which are to die for! I like her no-frills cooking, which still introduces you to new flavours.
